SUCC is an extremely active kayaking, canoe polo and social club, with a wide range of events taking place on a regular basis for beginners through and advanced paddlers. Please visit our forum to meet SUCC members, or come along to one the Monday meeting, Pub or pool sessions during term time.

With exams and other things going on there will be no more formal trips until next year. Please check the forum (or talk to us in the pub) for information on non-club trips going on most weeks to HPP and other places. Photos from previous club trips are available on the forum HERE. Interested in joining the club? Come along to any of these activities during the week and we'll tell you all abut the club Monday Meeting (Will restart in September) Every Monday at 13.10 in the Octagon Bar at the union. A great place to find out what's happening and to plan and reserve a place the upcoming trips and activities. Possibly followed by a cheeky lunchtime pint (or coffee) in Interval. Pub Session From 8.30pm every Monday at THE BROOMHILL TAVERN, on the corner of Glossop Road and Peel Street in Broomhill. Wednesday Lake Session and Canoe Polo Training. Wednesday afternoons. 2.00pm Goodwin Lake (Crooks Valley Park) or 1.45 at the boatshed if you need kit. (Please check the e-mails and weather before coming down) Friday Pool Sessions (Will restart in September) Every Friday 5.45 (To be changed and on the poolside for 6pm) till 7.30 at the Goodwin Pool in S10 Health Northumberland Rd. The best warm place to learn kayaking.
